Color is a Good Thing

I'm always on the look out for colorful things. Whether it's yarn or the color of the sky, I am always observant about colors. This week, right next to my office, the city people painted this manhole orange. I like to think of tiny orange elves living underneath in the sewers, running around and knitting to their hearts content. Have you ever seen a manhole this bright before? What's living in your sewers?

I'm so excited you got the book! I can't wait to check it out and I might have to photocopy my shopping tunic pattern from it. :) And I like elves with orange little shoes. Too cute.
Very bright and colorful! I like the orange in the green leafy setting too. The color combo is nice.
When I was little, our elves lived in my mom's gingerjar lamp rather than in the sewers. They came out every St. Patrick's Day and had a tea party! :)
